ESOL Sports Day 2015
The ESOL Sports Day took place on Tuesday, 5 May at Northcross Intermediate School.
We took along two mixed teams and each team rotated around five different sports: playing netball, rippa rugby, soccer, gumboot throw and tug-o-war. We were competing against ESOL students from Intermediate Schools across the North Shore.
Results were mixed, but we definitely excelled on the netball court.
The day ended with a lolly scramble, where we also did particularly well!
Our students were excellent ambassadors for our school and received many compliments on their attitude, behaviour and sportsmanship. They made us proud. A big thank you to Mr Guo, Miss Duxfield and Mrs O’Malley for helping to transport us to and from the event.
